God created man as a living being. We read in Genesis that the LORD breathed in life in the form made out of mud and breathed life into him and the man became a living being.
Once the LORD created man he said, you will die if you eat a specific fruit.
Adam and Eve disobeyed and death came into the world.
When the Sadducees testing him on resurrection his reply ends as "For to him all are alive." Read Luke 20
So Abraham, Isaac, Jacob were long 'dead' before Jesus. But Jesus says they are still alive.
Also when he talks about of Lazurus and rich man story, Jesus says Lazurus was left in the Abraham's lap in the heaven and rich man suffering in the hell.
Life is still there in both rich man and Lazurus. Not being a living being in flesh doesn't actually stop from the soul to be alive.
When Jesus returns as the righteous judge, he will reward as per the deeds.
Also Jesus said in Matthew 7:21-23
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'
A judgement is very much awaiting the people of the world, 'living' or 'dead' for to him all are alive.
There are deep secrets in Jesus' warning.
He also says the demon drivers and mighty work doers in Jesus Name are doing "evil" (Read Matthew 7)
Every child of God MUST be aware what is GOD'S will before they do anything in their life. Ask the Holy Spirit who resides in you, "Is this what heavenly Father's will for me?"
Do only the Father's will. Casting demons, preaching, prophesy, healing etc., are deeds which will be considered evil, if they are not will of heavenly father.
Live a life that will be pleasing to the LORD and be assured of salvation.
If you live to your will and not accomplish heavenly father's will, no miracles, no demon driving, no prophecy will save you. Be aware of this simple but important truth.
In him there is life. Jesus is a life-giver.
John 5:21-24
For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will.
The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son,
that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
May the Spirit of God lead you in all Truth.
