Some of the reasons why Jesus lived for 33-1/2 years are
1. Prophecies written on him needs to be fulfilled. Starting from the Prophecy LORD god YHWH told in the Genesis 3:15, till the Zechariah's prophecy, the father of John the Baptist got fulfilled in Jesus. Researchers say that as many as 355 Prophecies of Old testament prophets got fulfilled in Jesus' birth. 2. He was tempted just as a normal human beings were tempted. So he has to grow old enough to get that temptations of the world and overcome the temptations, to be a blemish-less lamb. Hebrews 4:15 explains that "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin"
3. God's appointed time had not come for the sacrifice. Galatians 4:4-5 states "But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship." So if his coming is appointed, his sacrificial time is also appointed
There are many more reasons. Holy Spirit will lead you into all truth.
