Kingdom of God and Kingdom of Heaven are interchangeably used by many in their sermons.
Jesus used both the terms. It became pertinent to touch upon this as I read in one of the articles Jesus said "Kingdom of heaven is near" at the beginning and once the idea was "marketed well" and people started accepting Jesus, he said "Kingdom of God is within you."
If you are one among the many to say that Kingdom of God and Kingdom of Heaven are one and the same, you are agreeing to this man's article that Jesus was using Kingdom of heaven as a Marketing tactic.
The revelation Holy Spirit has given me is, Kingdom of Heaven and Kingdom of God are different, but have similarities.
God rules in both. But in the kingdom of heaven, the believers who are resurrected and believers in flesh who were taken up return to rule the earth. Lord will be the king and we will be the heirs and hence princes and princesses ruling the earth.
This kingdom of heaven is coming soon. The new millennium. Only amilleniels, the ones who does not believe that there's a million year rule of Christ say that the kingdom of God and Kingdom of Heaven are same.
Then what is Kingdom of God?
Kingdom of God is within us. In our hearts he rules. We consider only LORD’S lordship and He is our only king.
When we declare "The LORD reigns" we invoke the Kingdom of God right there.
Start the day with declaring that Lord reigns. Thereby you live in Kingdom of God.
Also declare that you are the chosen and wait for the new millennium rule to be a ruler. Thereby you are declaring your faith to return of Christ as King of Kings.
